In January 2022 I posted on Instagram a pencil drawing of Larry David inspired by his very particular ‘strut’.
After a week or two somewhat naïvely attempting to capture his walk in animation myself, I asked if anyone better qualified out there would be interested in bringing my LD drawing to life. Cue Doc at Form Play Studio getting in touch and kindly offering his outstanding animation talents and as you can see, he’s absolutely nailed it.
The key to capturing Larry’s walk in animation would be in its subtlety, sympathetically echoing the reduced nature of the original pencil drawing. I could not be happier with the result.
